explanation: Curiously, "obi" is a kimono's component who developed lately. Initially people wore kimono with a narrow string, revolved once and attached before. The modern "obi" appeared during Muromachi period with "kosode" (small sleeve), i.e. the actual form of kimono. During Edo period, obi has become a decorative element for women, revolved several times with a huge not behind, while men's obi evolved little. Nowadays, the most of obi is made at Nishijin in Kyoto.

explanation: Born in the family of a local war lord in 1534 near Nagoya, a legend says that he would have feigned foolish when he was young to distract others. After having eliminated by a surprising attack, another war lord, Imagawa Yoshimoto who threatened from the east, Nobunaga went to Kyoto to give orders to others in the name of Shogun and Emperor. After many successful battles, he was assassinated by his deputy, Akechi Mitsuhide in 1582 on the road to the western Japan.

explanation: During Muromach period, people ate "dengaku" which consists to grill "tofu" with miso: "oden" was a polite expression of dengaku. Later, other ingredients such as fishes or konniaku were also prepared with the same method. During Edo period, someone began to boil them together in a pot while keeping the same name and this dish has become very popular especially in Tokyo region, by adding other ingredients such as "daikon" (Japanese radish) and "chikuwa" (grilled fish's paste).
